Mt St.Piran Off-Trail hike on 3-Nov-2026

Participants: Ingrid, Deborah, Stephanie, Lilianne, Rick

A quick trip out to St. Piran with the addition of the Little Beehive because Rick had never been.

Down by the lake the temperatures were chilly, but we quickly warmed up as we made our way towards Mirror Lake and then the junction to St. Piran.

Along the way we were greeted with a lovely inversion cloud.

We made short work of the switchbacks to the summit, where we bumped into another large group at the summit, and stopped for a nice chat.

We enjoyed a lunch and took in the lovely views as the blue sky was starting to come in.

After descending to the junction, we decided to add on the Little Beehive for Rick who had never been.

After a short stop on at the Little Beehive we made our way down the trail, and were back at the vehicles within 5 hours of starting out.
