Mt Daly Scramble on 28-Aug-2026
Participants: Jack, Tatyana, Linda, Serena Mt Daly: 29km, 1600m, 14 hours (including stopped time.) Moderate scramble up to the ridge (chossy but not exposed) and difficult scramble along the ridge-top (exposed with some loose rock.) Great trail to treeline with no bushwhacking. Trail washed out after treeline, but route-finding not difficult with excellent sight-lines. No glacier crossing necessary as glacier has shrunken and can be easily cirvumnavigated both above and below.
