Ha Ling Peak 124573 Trail hike on 1-May-2026

A beautiful day for a short, early season warm-up. We enjoyed blue skies, light wind and while the trail was icy in the trees and snowy further up, our spikes did the job and things softened and improved for the way down. A surprising number of younger folk were managing in runners, but some looked less happy than others. Welcome to new Rambler Jan Paul (goes by Paul) who took so many great photos it was hard to narrow them down. Thanks to everyone for joining on short notice and making it a relaxed and enjoyable trip.
