The previous six weeks were a snow drought. Lucky for us we had 6 inches of new snow . After settling in there was time for a quick two laps. Mornings always start with a 60 minute safety meeting. The agenda is quite simple. There are 12 of us at breakfast. Lets make sure that we are 12 for supper. I am glad to say that every day we accomplished our goals .

The week started off with a 150 cm snowpack. We got a tremendous amount of new snow 100 cm. We ended with HS 200cm. Thursday was read a book day. 40 cm new snow and a weak layer down 80 drove us all to this simple decision .

Over the week we skied, we did snow studies, we hauled water,we ate, we shoveled snow, we had fun. We even went shopping .
