Grass Pass to Bull Creek Hills, return same way Off-Trail hike on 1-F

Another great day in the Highwood! To maximize distance and elevation, we did an out-and-back trip to the highest hill rather than one of the usual Rambler loops, and detoured to the Boundary Pine and the end of its ridge on the way back. Lots of sunshine, strong but not too-cold wind, and only a few sections of postholing. 2 brilliantly white ptarmigan and no other humans.
