The Belly River group campsite again provided a low cost ($11 per day) camping option, although Parks Canada had doubled the fee from last year. We had total of 15 campers, which was significantly less than the 31 members who originally signed up when the booking was made in April. The weather forecast predicted 30 mm of rain on the first day, so most trips where moved from the Tuesday to the Friday. Considering that this July was one rainiest in over a 100 years, we were very fortunate in get 3 days of near perfect weather, with temperatures in the mid-20s, sunshine, and no significant wind.
