Bertha Lake Trail hike on 23-Jul-2025

What a change from last year! This year there were perfect temperatures and limited wind so we didn't need to worry about falling trees.

We continued up the trail to the bridge. It was noticeable this year that we had had a lot of rain as the waterfall was twice the size of last year.

We all headed up and then down to the lake and around to the campground beach where we all spread out for lunch.

. We spent a lot of time having a leisurely lunch as the weather and flowers were beautiful and there was no rush to go back to our various accommodations. We wandered around the lake at various places. Jim enjoyed himself hopping on rocks.
