What a perfect day in the mountains. For some Ramblers, it was the fist time to see Table Mountain in its full glory. Mother nature did not disappoint. We were greeted with blue skies, comfortable temperatures, and spectacular views. The beginning of the trail was wet. We have seen raining trees for the first time. Due to the recent rain the leaves were full of water droplets that came pouring down as we walked, fortunately, not on us. The trail further up was also wet, especially along the creek, but everybody safely navigated to dryer trail above the creek. It was a bit windy on the top, so we found a sheltered spot in trees on the ridge to have lunch. We were back in the cars around 3 pm. Then we stopped for well deserved ice-cream on the way back to Pincher Creek. Thank you to all for joining me on this beautiful day in the mountains.
