Powderface Ridge 515344 Off-Trail hike on 21-Jul-2025

The morning was cloudy, wet, and a bit smoky, but we decided to go hiking anyways... and it all worked out beautifully despite the lack of mountain views. No rain until we were driving home, loads of spectacular flowers, great conversations, and a sighting of an adorable horned lark chick (plus parent close by) as well as other birds and wildlife. No people pictures because I forgot to take any.

Participants: Ingrid (coordinator), Deborah, Lara
