Warspite north ridge Off-Trail hike on 19-Jul-2025

Once again the weather forecasts were wrong, luckily this time in our favor as we enjoyed a mostly sunny day and not a drop of rain. It took us about three hours to gain the col and from there it's only a short stroll to the north end of the ridge. There's a higher point just to the south but it didn't look like an atractive proposition. After a relaxed lunch we backtracked to the col and a fast descent to the cirque on a perfect soft scree chute. Back to the cars at 3:45.
