It was a day just like Goldilocks porridge, not too hot, not too cold, just right. We couldn't have asked for better when the 13 of us hiked up through the fresh forest and flower filled alpine meadows. Although we saw many other hikers we had the summit to ourselves for lunch with Mist Mountain towering above us with a fresh covering of snow. On the way down a fellow from the Forest Service gave us a 15 minute impromptu lesson about White Pine Blister Rust which is causing great destruction to the Limber Pine trees in Kananaskis. Thanks to all who joined me on a great days in the mountains. Participants: Gary, Alda, Susan, Marietta, John, Teresa, Cathy, John, Jo, Krzysztof, Christine, Kate, Jenny
